DISASZT x COPPA’S “ROCK YOU” BETS ON AMBITION WITHOUT LOSING YOURSELF
October 2, 2026 by That Chick Krys
Have you ever worked so hard for something that finally getting there felt more exhausting than exciting? DisasZt x Coppa tap into that feeling on Rock You, pairing some seriously heavy questions with an upbeat electronicore and pop rock direction that gives you a reason to move while sorting your head out.
There’s something immediately relatable about questioning whether the life you chased is actually the life you wanted. “Did you get everything you wanted” sounds simple until you consider what answering honestly might involve. Time? Relationships? Your peace?!? Suddenly, that question gets pretty uncomfortable.
What I love about these lyrics is the refusal to pretend that determination makes you indestructible. Reaching the summit still feels like falling. Carrying the weight still leaves your hands broken. You can believe in yourself and admit you’re absolutely exhausted. Both things can exist together, and that honesty gives the song its heart.
The upbeat musical direction makes that emotional weight especially interesting. Electronicore’s physical energy and pop rock’s approachable appeal give these reflections somewhere to go beyond sitting alone with them. It’s the kind of combination that suits dancing around your room, getting through a workout, or walking off a day that tests every last nerve. Then there’s the search for peace. That moment shifts the focus toward being able to breathe again, which feels every bit as meaningful as reaching the top.
Rock You offers a welcome reminder to check what your ambition is costing you while keeping faith in your ability to move forward. Put it on when you need a little movement, a little perspective, and permission to stop measuring your worth by how much you can carry. You deserve to enjoy the view once you finally get there, too.
