New York-based metalcore band ANTINOVA’s Serpent taps directly into that mentally and emotionally scarring, volatile experience, blending blistering production with lyrics that unravel trauma, confrontation, and the painful awakening that comes when the enemy you feared turns out to be someone tied closely into your life. From its very title, Serpent evokes danger, deception, and venom concealed beneath the surface until it strikes, and ANTINOVA builds that narrative with intentional force.
The emotional weight of the track begins with the performance itself. Christian Gisondi leads with a vocal delivery that feels like exposing an open wound while still baring his teeth.
