That was my reaction listening to Not That Broken by Major Moment. I genuinely did not expect an 80s inspired pop rock vibe, metalcore choruses, and a rap metal bridge to work this well together, but it all clicks perfectly!

The verses have this nostalgic 80s pop rock atmosphere that feels big, emotional, and almost cinematic. It gives the track this lighter melodic feeling at first, but you can already feel tension building underneath everything. Then the chorus comes in and completely flips the mood with heavy guitars and aggressive metalcore vocals that hit way harder because of the contrast.

The song really captures what it feels like to live inside an overloaded brain. The lyrics deal with ADHD in a way that feels brutally honest instead of overly dramatic. There is frustration all over this track. You can feel the exhaustion of constantly trying to keep up, constantly feeling misunderstood, and getting stuck inside your own thoughts while everyone around you expects you to function normally. At the same time, there is this defiant feeling running through the song where they are basically saying, “Yeah, I struggle, but that does not mean I am beyond saving.”
